Doing my daily blogosphere surfing of Tar Heels sports I go by one of my "must stop" sites, Tar Heel Times, where I find a nice article from the main page of UNC Athletics. It discloses the upcoming schedule for the Diamond Heels, which will be the first one for the Heels in their new state-of-the-art Bryson Field Boshamer Stadium. From the article I read it says that North Carolina will dedicate the facility Saturday, April 18th, prior to a televised game against Miami.
As far as in conference games the article talks about the weekend series. With Miami (April 17-19), Tigers (March 6-8), Blue Devils (March 20-22), Virginia (March 27-29) and the Terrapins (April 24-26) for three-game match ups at home. On the road the Diamond Heels will have trips to Virginia Tech (March 13-15), Georgia Tech (April 3-5), Florida State (April 10-12), NC State (May 8-10) and Boston College (May 14-16). Carolina once again will not have to play against in state foe, Wake Forest, during the regular season.
