UNC trio could all be back!

Could this be the day that most every Tar Heel fan has been hoping for since the "testing the water" drama began? From what I am being told and what I am seeing/hearing/reading from the right places, it is becoming more and more a possibility that all three (Lawson, Ellington and Green) are going to come back to Chapel Hill for one more year (and of course, another run at a National Title).

I know that with so many "he might come back", "he is gone for sure", and so on and so forth nothing is final until they say so, but as I said last night, with all three waiting to talk to coach Williams, all three waiting for the same day, all three doing it as Roy Williams is in Omaha to cheer on the Diamond Heels, you have to believe that it might be (at least partly) good news.

I'm going to say this, from what I've been told and heard, to me the possibility of the three coming back is, as of right now, 90%. While that might not be the definite answer that people are waiting for, it's a lot better than last week when Lawson was 60-40 going pro and Green was 50-50. I think, again if this is true, this is a smart decision and I also believe that it is one that the three might have done together, seeing that without a piece (or two) of this finely oiled machine the title run might be a bumpy one, but with all three it might be a very smooth one.

Could this be a historic run for the Tar Heel basketball team if this is true? You bet it could be, with the possibility of going undefeated, winning 40 games, having once again the National Player of the Year along with a few fellow team mates being All Americans. And what a team this would be as it comes back to pave the way for the next class that head coach Roy Williams has coming in in 2009. I am going to wait for the 5:00 p.m. EST deadline, but inside I have to admit I am exploding with joy!
