ACC Baseball Tournament: Day One

In the first game of the ACC Tournament Georgia Tech (1-0) squeaked by North Carolina State (0-1) by the score of 10 to 9. In the second game of Division/Group A Miami (1-0), winner of the ACC regular season, took care of Clemson (0-1) by the score of 7 to 1. In tomorrow's game the two winners (Miami and Ga. Tech) will face off at 5:00 p.m. EST, while the 8:00 p.m will have the two losers (NC State and Clemson) face off.

I will now wait for the night games that will face off the four teams from Group B. With Florida State playing against Wake Forest and then having North Carolina and Virginia finishing off day one of the ACC Tournament. Group B will not play until Friday when the match ups will be FSU vs. UVa and UNC vs. Wake Forest.

Update: Florida State took care of business against Wake Forest by the score of 8 to 3. However the Tar Heels did not do well in their first game as the consensus number one team as they feel in 11 innings to Virginia by the score of 8-7. Stay tuned for my recap of the UNC game.
