After three games where the Cleveland Cavs, behind their super star LeBron James, have a two to one lead, Sunday the Washington Wizards tried to even up the series between the two teams. This means that two ex Heels were back in action in the National Basketball Association playoffs. Let's see what Antawn Jamison and Brendan Haywood did.
Here are Antawn Jamison's numbers for the game:
Minutes: 41:14
Points: 23 (best for the Wizards)
FG: 8 for 17
3PT: 1 for 4
FT: 6 for 9
Reb: 11 (2 offensive)
Ast: 0
TO: 2
Stl: 3
And here are Brendan Haywood's numbers for the game:
Minutes: 34:39
Points: 16 (second best for the Wizards)
FG: 5 for 10
3PT: 0 for 0
FT: 6 for 8
Reb: 6 (1 offensive)
Ast: 2
TO: 1
Stl: 1
While the two ex Heels played well it was just not enough to contain the Cavaliers as Cleveland won by the score of 100 to 97 and took a three to one advantage. The series will now switch back to LeBron's home court tonight. If Jameison and Haywood can not pull some magic this could be the last game for the season for both of them. In order to have a chance they will need to stop (or slow down) James, who had 34 in this game.
